Christine Quinn Teases ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 3, Says “We’re Never Going To See” Chrishell Stause Talk About Her Ex-Husband Justin Hartley

Selling Sunset Season 3 returns to Netflix this August and ahead of the set of new episodes, star Christine Quinn is opening up about what fans can expect—and it supposedly won’t include Chrishell Stause dishing on her juicy divorce from actor Justin Hartley.

Christine made the comments in an interview with Page Six to promote the new season and she didn’t disappoint. “I think that was the understanding that they had is that he wanted to be totally private in regards to Selling Sunset, which she respected,” she told the gossip outlet.

“So, we’re never going to see him on the show and we’re never going to see her talk about him, and I really don’t think there’s ever any resolve unfortunately.”

Despite not really getting along with his wife, Christine added that she had previously met Hartley, who stars on NBC’s This Is Us, and actually liked him. “I hung out with him many times and he was an absolute doll,” she said. “He was an absolute sweetheart, especially to Davina [Potratz] and I, and I thought that was really interesting considering the dynamic between Chrishell and I.”

“He has been nothing but nice and supportive to us.”

“We went to the Critic’s Choice Awards together, and Chrishell was ignoring me at that time, of course, and running out of the room, but [Justin] is such a gentleman,” she explained. “He came up and took the time to say ‘Hi’ and have a conversation with Davina and I, and he is just, he is really, really, down to earth, humble, great guy, in my opinion, so he’s always treated me with respect.”

On Selling Sunset Season 2, viewers watched as the relationship between Chrishell and Christine continued to deteriorate and at the end of the season, new footage was teased which showed the cast reacting to Chrishell’s shocking divorce news which at the time seemed to drop out of nowhere.

According to Christine, it doesn’t look like her relationship with Chrishell is about to get better any time soon but she did mention in the interview that along with the rest of her co-stars, she is tired with their ongoing drama.

“The other girls and I are really great at our jobs in real estate and filming a television show, because we understand that we get in fights, but at the end of the day, we’re always able to make up,” she said.

Maya [Vander] is tired of it. Heather [Rae Young] is tired of it. Davina is tired of it. Everyone is just exhausted by her ignoring me, so I hope that maybe next season we can move forward, but I’ve been trying.”

She added, “You don’t know much about her and you never really will, so I just wish that her and I could be in a better place.”

Chrishell responds

Chrishell didn’t take too kindly to Christine’s comments and has responded on Twitter, slamming her co-star for talking about her relationship.

“I just learned Christine is giving press ‘information’ about my divorce,” Chrishell tweeted, according to TooFab. “Let me be VERY clear. She knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so. Anything from her is either a complete lie or total conjecture on her part.”

“It’s so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone’s personal painful situation to get press for themselves,” she said. “I can’t say I am surprised, but please check the source. She has absolutely zero knowledge of the marriage we had.”

Regardless of who’s side you may be on, one thing is for sure: Selling Sunset is bringing the drama. Season 3 premieres on Netflix on Friday, August 7, 2020.
