Chrishelle Stause is once again shutting down rumours that she may have had a relationship with her married Dancing With The Stars partner with Gleb Savchenko.
“I feel like it really is annoying because it’s one of those things where, you know, unfortunately, the timing of what he’s going through personally, people want to make it into something it’s not,” the reality star and DWTS Season 29 contestant said on E!’s Daily Pop just yesterday (November 24).
She added, “So we’re just friends.”
Despite the negativity, Chrishell, who also appears on Netflix’s Selling Sunset and was previously married to This Is Us actor Justin Hartley before that relationship ended rather precariously, says that she understands it comes with the reality TV fame.
“I get it,” she said. “I’ve been on soaps. You have to have that kind of stuff sometimes when you’re on the dance floor. People misinterpret that.”
As previously reported, both Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko denied they were having an affair just weeks ago after Savchenko’s wife made the allegations on social media.

“I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life. Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone,” Chrishell posted on Instagram at the time.
“As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more,” she continued. “I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time.”
Gleb, for his part, also spoke out, releasing a statement directly calling into question his ex-wife’s motivations.
“While I will continue to respect the privacy of my family, I will not stand by and allow false accusations and internet rumors go unaddressed,” he said, according to PEOPLE. “My relationship with Chrishell was and remains strictly platonic. Our friendship during our season on DWTS was not the reason for our split. Elena and I have had longstanding issues in our marriage. This has been an ongoing situation between Elena and I paired with poor timing.”
He added, “It was my deepest hope to keep our private life just that: private. I am saddened and disappointed to see that Elena has chosen not to do the same.”
Chrishell’s rep also echoed Gleb’s statement at the time, further denying the affair. “Any insinuation or accusation that Chrishell is in any way involved in the dissolution of Gleb and Elena’s marriage is 100% categorically false,” the reality star’s rep said, according to the gossip mag. “To be clear: Chrishell and Gleb are in no way, and have never been in any way, romantically involved.”
Dancing With The Stars recently wrapped Season 29 and will return for Season 30, albeit with some changes, in 2021.
