Cameran Eubanks Denies She’s Leaving ‘Southern Charm’ Because Of Salacious Rumours About Her Husband
Cameran Eubanks is denying that she’s leaving Southern Charm for any other reason other than wanting to move on with the next chapter of her life.
Taking to Instagram, Cameran released a statement slamming some of the salacious rumours floating around about her exit from the Bravo reality show.
“I was going to make a kind statement about why I decided to leave the show tomorrow however it has come to my attention that insidious rumours are now spreading and fake articles being written…some of which pertain to my marriage,” she shared.
“While upsetting, it sadly doesn’t surprise me as this is what reality television has come to nowadays and a large reason why I kept my marriage off the air. You must protect what is sacred to you. Some things aren’t worth a big paycheck,” she continued.

“What upsets me the most is that my husband, who is the most sincere and faithful human I know is being falsely dragged into this,” she said, referencing the numerous tweets and stories about her husband’s alleged infedelity.
“It disgusts me. He always supported me filming the show even though he wanted no part of the spotlight. I can’t get too upset though because this is what you sign up for when you put your life on reality TV… and why I’m getting out of it now.”
“Drama is needed to stay relevant on reality television and sadly false rumours about others are sometimes created,” she dished. “Make of that what you will and consider the source. My decision was made and given to Bravo months ago and had absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous and fake rumours about my marriage.”
She said, “Please disregard any fabricated rumour. It’s a ploy for ratings and that’s it. Now I absolutely know I was smart to leave the party early. My gut has never failed me. To all of the genuine and kind fans, cast and crew that I have worked with over the years and had the pleasure of knowing…thank you.”
The statement is shocking considering Cameran has been a longtime Bravolebrity and such a massive part of Southern Charm’s success.
We’re sad to see Cameran go and at this point, with the more we hear, the more it looks like another season of this show may not actually happen.

As previously reported, Haymaker Productions, the company behind the show, has struggled to find replacement cast members and with Cameran’s revelation that she quit months ago, it’s all starting to add up.
In addition to the issues with casting, the current cast can’t seem to wait out the hiatus patiently.
Just this week, it was revealed that Kathryn Dennis had sent racist messages over social media to a radio host and podcaster. Even though Kathryn has since apologized for bullying the woman, fans are calling for the network to fire her.
Seeing as the show attempted to depict a true southern lifestyle in the earlier seasons, the current drama with the cast can’t be that attractive to any potential new cast members.
And with Cameran Eubanks now leaving the show, production will certainly have to find a new direction moving forward and as of now, it doesn’t seem that they have that new direction figured out.
Southern Charm is expected to return later this year.
