Bravo has confirmed that Porsha Williams’ RHOA spinoff, The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha’s Family Matters, will premiere this November.
Porsha’s Family Matters will follow the RHOA star and her extended family as she navigates a “whirlwind romance and an engagement that broke the internet”.
The group will head to Mexico for a family retreat where things kick up in true Real Housewives fashion, according to a description from the network which you can read in full, below.
In the aftermath of a whirlwind romance and an engagement that broke the internet, Porsha Williams’s extended family is heavily involved in her personal drama, and as each person chimes in with their unfiltered opinions, tensions rise. The group heads to Mexico for a family retreat, but while the forecast calls for calm and sunny skies, a storm heads straight for the Williams family.
The series follows the no holds barred Williams family – the aunts, sisters, cousins, friends, grandmother, in-laws, ex-lovers, current lovers and all. The over-the-top and highly entertaining group isn’t shy about sharing their many opinions and getting involved in Porsha’s personal life, welcome or not. To work through the family drama, Porsha’s sister, Lauren, arranges a relaxing getaway at a beautiful resort in Mexico filled with yoga, meditation, energy clearing, serenity … and a little too much tequila. Porsha, her ex-fiancé and PJ’s father, Dennis, and her new fiancé, Simon, work through the evolving dynamics of co-parenting, love, and most importantly, family.
In an official press release, the network notes that the spinoff is actually a limited series which usually means that no additional episodes past the first season have been ordered.

Porsha, who joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta with Kenya Moore back in Season 5, will not be returning to the series for Season 14, which recently started production. She will still appear on Bravo’s Chat Room as a full-time host and isn’t the only RHOA star set to receive the spinoff treatment, as a new Kandi Burruss series is also filming and is set to debut in 2022.
According to a new report, RHOA is due for quite a shake up with Porsha’s exit. Drew Sidora, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, Sheree Whitfield, Marlo Hampton and newbie Sanya Richards-Ross make up the official Season 14 cast.
The Real Housewives: Porsha’s Family Matters premieres Sunday, November 28 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
