Bravo Expanding ‘Below Deck’ Franchise To Norway & Australia, NOT Iceland

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the franchise would be heading to Iceland.

Changing course! TV Deets has learned that while Bravo is in fact expanding its hit Below Deck franchise, it will be to Norway and Australia, not Iceland and Australia as reported earlier this week.

Deadline made a mistake, we are actually headed to NORWAY!” the show’s casting company shared with TV Deets, referencing the outlet that was first to reveal the Below Deck franchise is expanding to Iceland and Australia with two new spinoffs. (Their original story about the new Below Deck spinoffs hasn’t yet been updated.)

As TV Deets reported earlier this week, Bravo is in the early stages of development on two Below Deck spinoffs, which we’re calling Below Deck Norway and Below Deck Australia. If the two new shows do in fact make it to air, that would mean that there could be six Below Deck-related shows on Bravo: The original series starring Captain Lee Rosbach, Below Deck Mediterranean with Captain Sandy Yawn, and Below Deck Sailing Yacht with Captain Glenn Shephard, aftershow Below Deck Galley Talk, and now Below Deck Norway and Below Deck Australia.

According to the report, original production company 51 Minds Entertainment is not involved in the new series, which are being produced by Shed Media. As the original story revealed, the new series may air on Bravo or on NBCUniveral’s streaming service, Peacock.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Monday nights at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
