Cynthia Bailey may be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 10 after all, a new report indicates.

Just yesterday (March 15th, 2017), news broke that Cynthia had been let go from RHOA ahead of the show’s season 9 reunion taping. Now, a Bravo rep confirms to gossip site TooFab that she has not been fired — yet.

“There is no truth to this story,” a spokesperson for the network explains. In addition, a source close to production of the show tells the site that Cynthia is still employed “at this time.”

This season, Cynthia’s storyline has focused on her divorce from Peter Thomas and the purchase of a new home just outside of Atlanta, but some viewers have been complaining that things just aren’t ringing true.

While we don’t mind having Cynthia on the show, RHOA really needs to do something to shake things up and that probably means a mini-reboot. As previously reported, Bravo is hoping to bring Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak back to the show full-time and their larger salaries are causing producers some concern over the budget. Cynthia probably demands a decent amount of money for being on the show all these years but at this point, we’re not sure she’s really delivering.

While the website is touting this as an exclusive story, it’s pretty easy to get a confirmation like this from the network. Bravo doesn’t really comment on casting rumours prior to a show’s announcement, so there’s no way they’d be confirming Cynthia’s firing even if it did happen.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo and Slice.
