Bravo Backed Out Of Filming Cynthia Bailey’s Wedding For ‘RHOA’ Season 13 Over COVID-19 Concerns — Report

The big day was expected to be a big part of Cynthia's storyline.

Cynthia Bailey’s wedding took place in Georgia just a few weeks ago in the midst of filming on RHOA Season 13 but her nuptials to Mike Hill won’t be featured on the show, according to recent reports. Now, insiders are revealing that Bravo reportedly backed out of documenting the exciting day due to concerns over COVID-19.

Sources tell TMZ that Bravo actually was scheduled to film the event but that 2 days before, Cynthia and Mike switched from an outdoor setting to an indoor setting due to an approaching storm. At that point, the network deemed the event too precarious to document and subsequently backed out. The two reportedly had almost 200 guests, not including the massive crew that would be required to film for RHOA.

Recent reports suggested Nene Leakes demanded $125K from Bravo in order to attend Cynthia Bailey’s wedding, which the network ended up not documenting for RHOA Season 13.

Viewers will still get to see some of the wedding on the new season, however, as self-shot footage is expected to be included at some point.

As previously reported, Cynthia’s wedding has been a hot topic of conversation, with recent reports suggesting her former friend Nene Leakes also backed out, refusing to attend because Bravo wouldn’t agree to a rumoured $125K appearance fee.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta will return in 2021.
