CBS has announced that Big Brother Season 22 will premiere on Wednesday, August 5 at 9/8c.

According to a network press release, the two-hour premiere will feature the All Star houseguests entering the house LIVE for the first time and they happen to all have one thing in common: something to prove.

Big Brother Season 22 will air Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, at 8/7c after the premiere on both CBS and CBS All Access and “the all-star Houseguests, including winners, finalists, legends, memorable personalities, and some of the best to never win the game, will be announced closer to premiere.”

COVID-19 safety measures

As previously reported, producers were taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of both the cast and crew seeing as the new season is coming amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition to having a lot of fan support for another season, reality TV insiders are looking forward just as much to Big Brother returning.

Many other versions of the show are currently in production with Germany having recently wrapped their local version, and Portugal continuing to bring the drama with new episodes. The U.S. premiere also comes after the abrupt mid-season cancellation of our local version here in Canada.
