‘Big Brother Canada’ Season 8 To Continue Production Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
Big Brother Canada will continue production on season 8 amid the coronavirus outbreak, according to new reports.
According to Global News, all of the Houseguests have been informed about the coronavirus pandemic (also known as COVID-19) and have chosen to remain inside the house and continue playing the game.
Even though many other productions have shut down, Big Brother may have additional reasons for remaining in production.
Unlike many other shows, the contestants are quarantined in a hotel for days before they actually enter the house and, as viewers are aware, aren’t allowed to leave for any reason once they’re inside — unless they’re evicted, of course.
The new season started on March 4, prior to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau closing the borders and before coronavirus had been classified as a pandemic.
