Below Deck Mediterranean star Hindrigo Lorran, better known to viewers as Chef Kiko, is speaking out about the now-infamous Vegas dinner that has fans of the franchise divided.
Last week, Kiko took to his Instagram Story to share his thoughts on the dinner which was shown on this week’s episode of Below Deck Mediterranean. As fans saw, Kiko was taken to task for not delivering a Vegas-themed dinner and his struggles seemed to only continue on from there.
We noticed Kiko’s comments in his Instagram Story and shared them on our Below Deck fan page so that fans of the franchise could weigh in.
“I have been receiving so many lovely DMs that make me feel so happy! You guys are happy I love you all!” he posted. “I can’t believe I have so many fans.”
He added, “Sorry for the terrible Vegas night, that wasn’t me and I was mentally and physically destroyed. When I feel bad it passes to my food and I’ll improve this day by day.”
“Shit happens and life is like this!” he joked, as only Kiko can.
Following our post, fans seemed to rally behind Kiko, with most stating that they love his personality but that this is also a potential opportunity for growth, if he so chooses to take it.
Season 5 is shaping up to be one of Below Deck Mediterranean’s most dramatic. In addition to the drama with Kiko, we have the troubled (?) relationship between Rob and Jessica, the complicated dynamic between Hannah and Bugsy, and somewhere in the middle Captain Sandy and Malia are just trying to keep it all together.
