Bravo has announced that Below Deck Med has scored a Season 5 reunion on an upcoming special episode of Watch What Happens Live.
According to The Daily Dish, Andy Cohen will host Captain Sandy Yawn and crew for a virtual reunion to discuss the explosive season. While an airdate for the special has yet to be announced, it is expected that the entire Below Deck Med cast will be participating in the taping.
Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5 has been chalk full of drama, to say the least, so there should be no shortage of things to talk about at the Season 5 reunion.
Not only did Bravo and production company 51 Minds part ways with cast member Peter Hunziker at the beginning of the season, but Captain Sandy had a hand in both Chef Hindrido (Kiko) Lorran and longtime Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier departing mid-season.
Now, Malia White’s boyfriend Tom Checketts has since ended up becoming the replacement chef, and Christine “Bugsy” Drake and Aesha Scott have returned on the stew side but it has left the fanbase somewhat divided over what some say is poor leadership on the part of Malia and Sandy.
All of the drama has led to record-high ratings, however, so it makes sense that the network would want to get the cast together for a reunion. With all of the discussion on social media, Andy Cohen sure has a lot on his hands.
