‘Below Deck Down Under’ Spinoff Lands At Peacock

It's the first of two potential spinoffs to be given the green light.

Below Deck Down Under, one of two previously-announced spinoffs, has been ordered to series at Peacock.

According to a report from Variety, the next edition in the Below Deck franchise won’t be aired on Bravo but on NBCUniversal’s new streaming service, instead. Like the original series, Down Under will “showcase the upstairs/downstairs of a super-yacht” and the new series will follow the yacht crew and the notoriously hard-to-please guests while filming around the gorgeous Australian coastline.

The new series is produced by 51 Minds, the production company behind the original franchise, with Christian Sarabia, Zachary Klein, Nadine Rajabi, Mark Cronin, Courtland Cox, Cristina Lopez and Tania Hamidi serving as executive producers. TV Deets can confirm that the series is currently filming.

As previously reported, Bravo has been working on TWO Below Deck spinoffs, including another series set to take place in Norway and titled Below Deck Adventure. Previously, we had been referring to this spinoff as Below Deck Australia. In addition to this new spinoff, the franchise currently boasts the original series, Mediterranean, Sailing Yacht, and after-show Galley Talk. If the Norway-based series is also given the green light, that will mean NBCUniversal has a total of 6 separate shows in the franchise, dramatically increasing the series’ presence.
