Andy Cohen is set to revisit some of the most iconic reality TV moments in a new special for E!.

For Real: The Story of Reality TV will premiere on the network sometime in 2021, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The longtime Bravo host will serve as host and executive producer of the upcoming special.

“I’m thrilled to look back at the shows that formed my love for reality TV, and interview the icons of the genre,” he said in a statement just yesterday. (November 15). “This series is like great candy!”

Andy Cohen will revisit iconic reality TV moments in a new special for E! set to premiere sometime in 2021.

As reality TV fans are aware, Andy is most well-known as the executive producer of The Real Housewives franchise and host of Watch What Happens Live.

As the THR report points out, his dual role provides him with a unique perspective. The special will reportedly feature The Real Housewives as well as shows like The Bachelor, Survivor, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

“A reality connoisseur in his own right, Andy takes viewers on a deep and captivating journey into a genre that’s forever captivated audiences and impacted pop culture,” the network said in a statement. “At a time where the world is constantly changing, For Real: The Story of Reality TV offers the perfect escape we all need; an opportunity to sit back, relax and submerge into a world that’s captured so many.”

For Real: The Story of Reality TV is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions and Most Talkative and Gil Goldschein, David Sambuchi, Julie Pizzi, and Andy Cohen serve as executive producers.
