Andy Cohen Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Bravo host Andy Cohen has announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
The Watch What Happens Live host took to Instagram to make the announcement, which has immediately put on hold all plans Bravo had to bring back the show after a brief shutdown due to the virus.
“After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus,” he posted. “As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better.”
He continued, “I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us, and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”
The news follows an announcement this morning that WWHL would be returning after a brief suspension but that it would be filmed from Andy’s New York City apartment. As he revealed in the Instagram post, those plans are now canceled.
We wish Andy the best and are sending him positivity for a speedy recovery.
