Aesha Scott Opens Up About Returning To ‘Below Deck Med’, Says She Was Never Attracted To Rob Westergaard

"I am just so excited to be back," the bubbly stew said about returning for Season 5.

Aesha Scott is opening up about her return to Below Deck Med in a new interview, talking the drama with Rob Westergaard and Jessica More while she is at it.

In a chat with Hollywood Life, Aesha opened up about her return and all of the drama on board The Wellington and in true Aesha fashion, she still seems to have a great attitude about it all, even months after filming wrapped.

“I am just so excited to be back,” she told the gossip outlet. “This might be the best thing that I have ever done in my life and I only expected it to be one season. So to be able to come back and do it again was such a bonus for me.”

Aesha’s return to the show hasn’t been easy, however. After quickly bonding with deckhand Rob Westergaard, she soon felt tension with stew Jessica More, despite Aesha saying that she was never attracted to Rob in the first place.

“No, honestly nothing ever happened with me and Rob. There was nothing there, there wasn’t any attraction whatsoever,” she said.

Denying that she was ever interested in the deckhand, Aesha revealed that it may just be playful editing that has some viewers thinking there is a future between the two—but she also revealed that things are going to come to a head between the three co-stars and co-workers.

Aesha Scott opened up about her return to Below Deck Med in a new interview.

“I am focused on the conversations of Rob and myself because it was relevant to him and Jess,” she explained. “I gave him the same amount of banter as the other guys, but if anything I talked to Alex [Radcliffe] the most so nothing with me and Rob. But there is drama there to come that you all will see.”

As previously reported, Aesha Scott joined The Wellington after Lara Flumiani, Kiko Lorran, and Hannah Ferrier had all departed, leaving her out of the loop when it comes to the intense drama that has been playing out in front of viewers. That said, the drama is nothing new for the stew as she did appear on Below Deck Med Season 4 where she certainly had to deal with her fair share of it, especially when it came to her relationship with deckhand Jack Stirrup.

If Aesha’s comments are any indication, it looks like things are going to heat up one way or another between the trio so we are sure that there will be lots to talk about at the upcoming reunion taping.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays on Bravo.
